Hello!

I have recently come into ownership of a KP-7220 Projector... This thing rocks! I grabbed it from a local Goodwill for 30 bucks, and upon getting it home did some research and realized it had a 72" screen that it was suppose to come with. Bummer!

I decided to hook it up anyway, and man was I impressed! With some minimal tinkering the the available knobs on the back, the picture was clear enough to read text on my white walls, and the sound is clear as day! Awesome!

The problem that I am having is that every 3-5 minutes, the system will completely lose connection, and go to a fuzz screen. The audio drops out, and is replaced by static. This is while hooked up to a DvD player run through an RF Modulator because the only video out is Coax. I would love to find the manuals for this beast, as it is a gift for my girlfriend and can't wait to put some time into getting it cleaned up.

I am no CRT expert, but I am willing to tinker if it is worth the time (If it is fixable, it's worth it! Wink ) SO! Who has some experience of what this issue could be and what I can do to resolve it? This beast is such a cool piece of equipment, and for $30 there is no reason not to invest some time in it.

Thanks everyone!

Chris
