Hey guys.....picking up a Runco PFP-7 Vivix scaler tomorrow. Looking for defined differences between scaler processors and line doubler. You'll have to excuse me but I normally use a PC for my source.

It only does up to 720p no 1080p, its 11 years old hope you didn't pay more that 50 bucks for it.

Not trying to be harsh but the Lumagen HDQ for 225 on ebay is a 1000 times better, and has Some Color management control.
Plus it has custom resolution ability for doing 2.35 or 2.40 aspects.

LOL....10 bucks is what I paid. Besides....I can't do 1080P on a Cine7 anyway. This is for a friend.
