Recently removed from luxury home theater. Meticulously cared for. No issues, functioning well when it was removed. 2530 hours after red re-tube. Green and blue tubes appear to me to be original, but not sure. Original owner was under the impression that all tubes were replaced. Pictures of hours and software versions included in listing. Exterior in excellent condition. DVI input card to allow use of hdmi and dvi digital sources. Not sure which brand. Has been professionally calibrated by William Phelps about 6 years ago. Mr Phelps was hired by Sony for many years to setup their CRT projectors for trade shows and other high priority viewing environments. Includes ceiling mount and wireless remote. Includes 2 manuals. Was previously setup for a 100inch screen size. Can display up to 1080p. Picture of YA board and Dallas chips. This unit does not have the dreaded 003A01E chipset. DVI input board is IFB-DVI-V2, have manual.

Cool.

So, you haven't said... Did you get a good deal on it, Jeff?

Or, to put it another way, how much do you suck?

I will have to wait a little while, this really wasnt in the budget. But I couldnt let it pass for 1200.00 bucks. I will need to talk to curt to see if I would be better off using the tubes that are in it or get a new green and use the red and blue I bought off him. I will probably need help swapping them as I am having issues with my left hand.

SCORE! Before you do ANYTHING, GET A DALLAS CHIP!

and... DO NOT.. I REPEAT... DO NOT... buy one off eBay. I hunted there yesterday, found a bunch, but all were 1999 or older. I am about to order 4 this weekend with a 2010 or 2011 date code, let me know if you want one.

I would use the existing tubes, the red you got is fine, but the blue has a TINY spot burn (as the eBay ad said). It's the green you need to worry about.

Thanks for purchasing that PJ Jeff! I'm going to view a local unit tomorrow and the price you paid is going to hopefully help me negotitate a realistic sale price.

Google "003A01E chipset". You'll find threads in this forum.
