I've asked you twice to post some info about this unit in another thread. Now you start another one. We're happy to help, but if you're going to ignore suggestions, then you'll most likely get ignored by most of us.
Sorry to be blunt, but that's pretty much how it works on every forum.

Maybe we need to do a search under the parent company...'Ectomy'?
(that was a joke!)
that looks really old, but could be broadcast equipment. Not sure if I'd trust it for longterm reliability, although if you conected the RGBHV outputs to the projector properly, and the box works, then you should get that 'crosshatch' test pattern on the screen.
Thing is though, that transcoder may only be designed for 480i video, and may not accept an HD 1080i component signal.
I'd go the computer cable route first, then try that transcoder once you know the projector works properly.

Thank you.
I did not find any info either on the unit I guess you look into things before you impulse buy parts LOL
I was directed to the unit and bought it by discription given not being able to test it or see it first ( ebay)
just pictures but atleast it was inexpensive ) lesson
I will be connecting the projector to computer when the cord comes in I will let you know how it works out
sorry for the delays but I am going to keep up with the forums to learn as much as possible for the crt
I plan on keeping mine as long as possible I dont care for the digitals

Ok, It's initiation time.
Petee do you know what a comma, or period is? And moreover, do you know how to insert them in your sentences in the proper places? If not at least try

from a 1997 press announcement:
VAS Group
Based in Burbank, California, VAS Group develops and manufactures premium
quality video conversion products. Of particular interest to the members of
the TIG are the following products, described in further detail below:
-HDTV products
HD-11trc HDTV transcoder and sync converter (GBR to/from Y-Pb-Pr)
**HDTV products
In addition to the RTC HD3:2, VAS Group has recently introduced two new
HDTV products. The HD-11trc transcoder sync converter and the HD-10sg
tri-level sync generator are designed for HDTV production with features
that help facilitate the integration of HDTV with the users existing video
equipment. For example, the HD-10sg can vertically lock its HD tri-level
sync to 525/625 composite or black video and the HD-11trc can convert the
Y-Pb-Pr from an HDTV source to RGB with sync on green for use with high
resolution RGB monitors instead of expensive HDTV monitors.
For more information contact the VAS Group at tel. 818 843-4831, e-mail:
info at vasgroup.com , and at our web site http://www.vasgroup.com
And some more info:
Burbank-based VAS Group builds its HD-11trc (an HDTV transcoder and synchconverter)
to work with both the 1080 interlaced HD standard and 720progressive. The device,
which transcodes between HDTV Y Pb Pr and HDTVRGB, is useful to display HDTV
generated material on either high-rescomputer monitors or via projection, obviating
the need for expensive HDTVmonitors. The less expensive HD-10trc only works in a
single direction, YPb Pr to RGB. Check out their Web site at www.vasgroup.com.
