how much air here Mr. Green . THe theory is correct but useless. There are fans built to win high static pressures, and those to have high airflow. Simply choose the right fan for you, it is easier and more efficient than mate... fans Mr. Green

The idea was to reduce fan noise by slowing the fan down and yet still moving the same amount of air.

When looking at engineering problems it is common to say that the "blanket is short".
You can't have everything. If you slow the fan you obtain less noise but even less airflow. The easier solution is to use bigger fans at very low speed. I use noctua fans, they are quieter than the competition (1 or 2 dB...) because they have well designed blades.

I just use the fans the factory thought were right for the job!! I cant hear them while watching a movie, and DEFINATELY cant hear them playing video games!!

Hush box works much better than any mod possibly could. 25-27db, no fan mod will get you that without considerably shortening the life of the PJ.
