Guys!

I hear from Gino twice a week; he has a new screen, going dedicated 2.40 (I advised not to) and it may be Christmas before he has anything running again, so lighten up. Jeez......

New 13' wide 2.40 screen is up. HFQ900 lenses are in. Have been working on it 2 hours each night. I've go them positioned, I've got rasters level and centred, I just dialed in the magnetics setup and astig flare triangularity etc.. Tonight I'm going to work on perfect geometry and initial blend. Tomorrow will be focus and lens flapping and electronic astig. Then finally convergence and tweaking blend on Friday. Will attempt colorimetry on Saturday and should have pix up this weekend if all goes to plan.

I've got to get this done this weekend. Not just for you guys, but I'll be leaving during the christmas break and wont be able to watch any blended nirvana until later in January! Must see 13' wide picture now!!! Very Happy

Here's a small teaser screenshot. New 13ft 2.40 wide screen!
Everything dialed in, except for grey scale/colorimetry. These HFQ900 lens are uber sharp.. thinest lines I've ever seen, edge to edge! More to come tomorrow.

Here are more pics of the ht. Not my house so I've done my best with it. Some pics have a HDDVD case for scale. All Audio gear completely custom made for me. More details another time. But is all audiophile grade, a perfect match for the twins. A ear-busting 116db without breaking a sweat! (Too afraid to go louder)

Gino,

I notice your front speakers are tilted backwards. Is there any particular reason for this? Wouldn't the sound be better at your seating position whith the speakers level?

Speakers are tilted up because I'm sitting on top of a platform so they are angled towards my ears. Platform is so I can see over the Twins.
