I'm sure this projector can handle 1080p, it looks too massive to be a low resolution machine... It in itself is "unobtanium" Mr. Green

Hopefully the 12-inch tubes do not have much wear and still much light output.

They are hard to get i think !

Still nothing! this better not be a joke lol, I cannot believe no one knows what this thing is! If its 1080p friendly it would be great to see what Panasonic could have pulled of. Thats not a Spellman in there is it?

I would sincerely hope that, being a Panasonic, they would have manufactured a Japanese power supply for it Very Happy

seen some 1083 and 1085 panasonic, those are "ok" for an es machine.sony 1252 / barco 800 equivalent. always though panny probably made some decent 9 inch machines too, since they built the tubes, never saw one though..get more detailed pics of this..very interesting.

even for the small ones, you cant really find spare parts...

Look at pic #3. That bare tube looks pretty small in comparison. It could be a 9" though depending on if that bare tube is a small tube.

It is hard to tell but the red (or blue) tube looks pretty decent. If this is 1080p capable, then the owner might have a pj that can last awhile longer. My fear is that George is posting this and has it apart, because there is a problem.

It is worth a try, but I doubt that would do any good. Most if not all of the people that worked on it are probably gone. I remember contacting NEC in like 2005 and there response was to talk to Doug Baisey.

Jeremy, he meant Greater than 12" CRT. Because the you asked, how do you know its a 12"? I am sure Eltopo took that as it could be larger than 12".

Although I could be wrong..

Very Happy

Screen is 160' 16:9. And the bare tube is G70's. To be sure this PJ can handle 1080p.
