Of course, the stock G90 green element isn't spot on either. | no, the marquee green is the correct one, it's the G90 which comes with the crappy green C. Red's are hard to find but not impossible and it's not like the set would be unwatchable without it while you waited

That is what I meant. Your probably going to need elements either way. Red for 9500 or Green for G90.

IMO the non-optimal green on a G90 is less noticeable than the corrected red on say a Barco, which is my only personal reference point. The orange-reds on the BG808S were really bad.

I had experience with both projectors. My advise is to go with 9500LC. After having 9500LC, I realized the big different between 8" VS 9". Resolution between 2500 X 2000 vs 1700 X 1200 does count on big screen.

well, the problem is, where i live (Poland in Europe) i have absolutely NO SERVIVE OR TECHNICIAN at all. The closest one is in Germany so i tend to buy as much plug and play PJ as possible. Any kind of tube swap or tuning whatsoever is pretty complicated and expensive...so should i or should i not???

I think you should. If you want to see a Marquee (8500) in action before you buy one, I live maximally close to you on the border to Poland.
cheers

I thought the price was more than that. Where do you see the pricing?

i thought i have some defective blue tube since itīs blury on the right side of the screen and canīt be focused properly. I disconnected my htcp and tried to set the convergance and geometry. Imagine my shock as i figured out that without any source connected to my g70 i can set everything without problem, which is not the case if i connect my htpc or bluray. So i guess some board must be defect. I also canīt set the geometry which means the pincunsion and keystone (the uppest and the lowest lines are not streight). What do you think might be the problem???

Current prices might be higher, I don't know.
