There is a button on my Barco 808 which I am not familiar with. I just saw it today. It says Bandwidth Limiting. It's currently down to 0 but I can adjust it. What is it for?

Thanks!

It's sharpness adjustment for 480i/576i composite and s-video signals, it shouldn't have effect at all with rgb inputs.

Some older remotes have sharpness text at same button.

btw, can I make the raster smaller? It's very close to the outside and the lower left corner is a bit distorted.

Not without making also active picture smaller, sources timings control raster size.

Actually you should get raster bigger (more blank pixels before and after active picture) to get rid of left side distortion.
Beam need time to stabilize before actual picture start. You can try to move picture inside raster to right edge (if there is room) using phase and then move whole raster left. So that distorted part of raster moves outside active picture.

Raster can hit outside tubes face plate without problems, it's active picture that can crack tube. With HD resolutions front and back porches should be bigger than with SD resolutions used in manuals example pictures. With proper sized porches HD picture would be very small at tubes center if you try to fit whole raster to tubes face plate.
