|
|
Hi,
Last night my G70 after about half an hour in operation suddently the red become blooming. ( or don't know how to describe) When I switch to test pattern the red line is so much thicker and fater. It go over the green and blue.
This morning when I switch on everything back to normal.
May I know what's cause this so that I can start looking for the parts?
I believe it will happen again and next time won't be so lucky?
Is it the neck board problem? BTW only the red tube.
Cheers

I have this same problem on a G70 I just bought, except it is constant and on the BLUE tube.

You need to determine if you're losing focus or convergence in each case. If the focus is off, you most likely have a focus board issue, if it's convergence, the convergence board is most likely flaking out.
Convergence boards fail far more often than focus boards, but I have had focus boards die too. I can repair or test either one.

If the problem was gone this morning, maybe reseating all the boards and connections would fix it?
