|
|
Hi all,
I've been using a BG808S for some years now and the quad has died. I had a replacement one but was a bit stupid, dont ask, its destroyed The quad had the Barco number R7722091
I can get a BD808S for cheap (build date juli 1997 ). If i am correct the quad in this one is the R7622091.
Is it possible to swap the Quads without problems ?
Thanks and greetings from Holland.

It should be the same part number. There's a long thread about which quads will work in which sets, do a search for it, it was a pretty recent thread (within the last month I think)

The thread is about a BD808S, i have the BG808S. I cant find the quad in the reference sheet about swapping quads / EHT's and the different boards.
I think i take te gamble and switchout the Quad and EHT. Thanks for the reply's.

And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
Yesterday i got 2 BD808 projectors from a BASF conference room. The tubes have static burn so they are useless for HT. Both unit's dont switch on ( more of that in another topic here http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=316379#316379 ). I changed the Quad with the defective one and everything works fine again. Watched a movie and no problems.
Thanks for all the support.[/url]
