I got a big problem with an 701/700.
The Setup is a "elcheapo" HTPC with an Barco 701. The ATI Radeon X1950 offers a VUY out, but the blue colour is missing. I checked out several cabels, no change. The blue input works, when i put the red cable in there.
First i thought that it's a software problem. But even in the Bios blue is missing. Using RGB Composite Sync is not possible, because the ATI did not change to composite Sync automaticly.
And with the VUY out, you can just use 720p every other PC resolution is beeing rescaled to 720p.
Is anyone using the composite output of the Graphics Card with an Barco?
I realy need to find a way to get the PJ work well with the PC.

Take the H and V output cables of the VGA connector and tie them together and plug them into the 'S' connector. Problem solved. Smile Run RGB mode.

Nope, no need to. Get a $3.00 BNC 'T" connector, combine the wires, and plug into the 'S' BNC connector.

I agree with curt, that's what I do on mine. The component decoder on the 701 is lousy anyway, you can never get the colors right, I only ever used it for game consoles since it was convenient and colors don't matter very much on games.
