To paraphrase a wise Jedi. "from a certain point of view." My Ampro's and Sony's are the right way around. Therefore NEC's are backwards.

I don't know about that whole backwards thing, but I do know that I have spent far more time working on my NECs as far as converging them and getting them fully setup, than I have on my friends Sony 1272Q. Heck, the 1272Q is almost too easy to setup and takes away all the fun!
I think once properly setup, an NEC XG can be one of the sweetest looking CRT projectors next to a G90, 9500, 909/1209, etc..., even the PG sets are remarkable in quality.
I'm sure I'd be quite amazed at any other CRT projectors IQ if it was properly setup however. Seeing my friends 1272Q on games and movies looks pretty damn good
And I think NECs aren't backwards, rather they are the ones that went in the right direction

Did you NOT see my photos? That is a SONY in that pic, and its the same as the NEC!!!
