I have a Barco Data 1209s that needs new tubes but is there anything else I might want to replace before putting it on the ceiling ?

Fortunately I have a couple of sets of new color filtered c elements left and a very nice set of P19LPB03 tubes (9's with no visible phosphor wear) with very good emissions. Smile

The Barco Data 1209s specs:

The Barco Graphics 1209s specs:

I do have a few spare BG1209s and BG1208s boards.....

No high freq mode in data, so freq range is limited to 75kHz.

If you need higher scan rates, few board need to be chanced to make it G.

I compared the documents below (G1208s) and G1209s service manual.
The projectors are equal, except tubes and neckboards.

Now you can compare these documents with your Data 1209s

Thanks for the reply's. So If I have this correct to convert a BD1209s to a BG1209s I need the following, all of which I have on hand.

Deflection switching board

controller

Horizontal board

Vertical board

The above boards all came from a BG1208s w/iris 3. Should the firmware work with the BD1209s or am I missing anything ?

I understanded needed boards same way, but check first that datas mother board have needed connectors for graphics deflection switching board. According to this post there is also datas with three yoke connectors at mobo, maybe those were some pre-series units.

Not sure about BG1208s firmware, probably it works fine.
