|
|
Hi
most of us need a long length of cable to run to the PJ
when using HDFURY or other convertors from HDMI to VGA
1. which cable is better to run in long length HDMI or VGA?
2. where to put the HDFURY convertor from HDMI to VGA as nearby to the source or nearby the PJ?
Thanks
shay

The way i did it was run the RGB-HV to the projector, and use a short HDMI lead. I used RG6 coax cable for the RGB-HV.

if i understand right you used the convertor next to your HDMI source and the run with a long RGB-HV cable to the PJ?

so from that can we conclude that RGB-HV is a better way to run long length signal due to that the loss of information is less then in HDMI?

In my case i used RG6 quad shielded coax, so yeah, it will be little or no loss at all. The image is sharp as possible with the set i have, zero noise, and perfect colours.
