https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=24701.html

The tubes arrived yesterday. I took some pictures and I have many doubts about their coloured c-elements and plates of the lenses.
These tubes were mounted on a Cine 8 Onix, the lenses had to be the HD 215.

The plates are very different from traditional Barco ones Shocked

I would to pull these c-elements and plates and install to my 808LC (actually with clear c-elements and traditional barco plates).

In your opinion, can I try to mount these plates and these coloured c-elements with my HD117-24 lenses?
I remember that these lenses were an option for the Cine8 Onix.

I also did a photo to compare the different c-elements.

C-elements are different but have same diameter.
Distance from c-element ring (plate base) and tube surface is the same with both plates (46 mm).
So I can try to use traditional plates and coloured c-elements with my HD117's.
In your opinion can work?

give it a shot on one tube to see. also place the green C over the bottom Lens element to see if the curves fit together with out issue.

I hope I have understood your question

Strange plate ... without c-element / with clear / with "little" green

Traditional plate ... without c-element / with clear / with "little" green

The c-elements seem to have the same height but a different curvature.
