I got a call yesterday from a high end A/V installation company asking if I wanted a free Barco projector. I said 'sure'. I was told to drive wayyyy across town to grab it. No charge, but I had to help them take down the screen.
So I drive wayyyy across town this morning.. to grab a 1986 vintage Barco 600!
Turns out I was at that customer's place about 6 years ago tweaking it. HAd a good laugh about it. The A/V company is putting in a new DPI LED projector, and upgrading everything to HD and BR.

Sadly, the 1986 McIntosh power amps are staying. I did make a good contact through for getting more trade in A/V stuff
As an aside, I was looking at the local CL yesterday, and saw an ad that said ' BIG SPEPAKERS- $200.'
Normally I'd pass on an ad like that, but I clicked on it anyways. I fell off my chair when the ad text read Old big Klipsch Cornerhorns......
I emailed right away, but I guess the guy got a million emails, as the ad was gone this morning and I got no call to my email.
