saw this on flea bay and while it's a useless S-video/Comp board I thought it was intersting that thay added a big shield (Faraday cage) to the top of it. Is that to isolate the board from the chassis or vice-versa?
Also, their use of Alum. elecrtrolytic SMD caps instead of Solid Tantalums is something I've been playing around with here too.

If you have a MDM board then leave it there as the copper in the PCB acts as a pretty good shield for the VIM. The HDM is right above it remember.

wow, never even thought of that I can do better though, sheetmetal shear at work will cut a dummy-board to fit right in there out of Alum. .06 thick
