hey everyone. Here comes some pictures on my test patterns for you to judge: I wonder if you think that it woulb be wourth to install 6pole magnets on thin 9500. i have good focis in the center of the picture i thing, the scan lines are visible at 1080p setup but not in the highest scan rate in the internal test patterns, should they be?

the bottom picture here is to the right corner and is obviosly triangular in shape. One more thing ive noticed is that my left side of the screen is much softer than right side no matter how i move around the PJ or adjusting sheimflug. the astig seems okey so i dont know whats wrong, i turned the seting from retrace short to long and it improved in sharpness a lot on left side but not enough... anyway perhaps the overall focus improves by adding 6pole magnets? its also wierd that when adding my sorce/ps3) the zone focus has to be set different from when using the internal test patterns, perhaps normal?

thanks! its realy hard to set the sheimflug when i dont know where the best electric focus lies because its different from frequens to frequens. strange that the 6-pole is not original on such high end set.

sorry for all replyes, i forgot to ask the most important: is it very hard/advanced to install them? I have been thinkin of some kind og uppgrade and perhaps the 6pole ring is one of the most important? One more teoretic question: does the convergens drift less if the astig is set up good? have a good evening

Installation is easy, just remove neckboard and sheet metal cage, four screws, then loosen clamp for two pole magnets, slide rearward and push new six pole yoke in its' place, reinstall sheet metal and neckboard, maybe ten minutes work for each tube, no need to drop projector from ceiling or remove tubes.
