What is the 3D video calibration standard?

I find some new 3D projectiors lower their gamma for brighter image, so I am wondering if 3D video playback standard is different from 2D?
I am a experienced calibratior, but I can 't find what I should pay attention when calibration a 3D system comapred to a 2D system. Anybody knows?
