I bought a set of rack rails to build a custom, built-in equipment rack. When I measure from outside of rack ear to outside of rack ear, it is exactly 19". The holes in the ears are elongated, but I want to make sure I don't build something that will only fit my existing equipment. Does anyone have a rack they can measure from center of rail hole to center of rail hole? Or know what the standard is?

Thanks,
Joel

19" faceplate is standard. Center-to-center on the mounting holes is 18-5/16" or 465mm...

Now you know why I got frustrated when I googled "rack size". So many pages of results, and I had to check every one of them...
