Well that didnt fix it it, it still shuts off during warm up.
I can MAKE IT run if I power on (with remote) and then immediatly hit the menu key..
it sounds to me like your PA board is being over-driven during the full White warm up screen. Like steve said turn that sh*t feature OFF in the service menu. Thumbs Down
the Red haze simply sounds like too much Red G2, think it's called "gain" by Sony . If you do a search on AVS for G70 gain you'll finsd some rough numbers. Basically you want to get away from the factory defaults and turn Green down from 225 to somewhere closer to 200. Then dial in red and Blue until an all white screen is actually White not pink or Baby-blue. Your numbers might wind up looking something like this

Quote:
G70 Settings:For SD DVD(720p@75hz. Brightness 65/Contrast 67/Bias RED 42/Bias Green 49/Bias Blue 25/Gain Red 189/Gain Green 216/Gain Blue 216.
My screen size is only 92in 1.3 gain,

Here's our final gain and bias figures:

.....Before ............After Gary's Tweak
GAIN:
Before: R 223.........After: R 170 (lowered)
Before: G 224.........After: G 224 no change
Before: B 225.........After: B 164 (lowered)

BIAS
Before: R 52.........After: R 52 (no change)
Before: G 60.........After: G 60 (no change)
Before: B 24.........After: B 52 (raised)

you can actually dial in D6500 Kelvin +/- couple hundred by eye, I know I can can. You don't need a meter to fix a Red push.
IMO the meter is most important to insure proper tracking across the entire IRE scale but then you need ot know what to adjust to make that happen, it's hard. Usually CRT will push blue through the middle portions of the stair-step

Well I swapped my boards back to their original pj's, nothing wrong with my pj .
I am in the process of setting the color right, But the PJ fires right up and stays on just
fine since I turned the red gain and bias down. At least I know my pj is cool I thought
I was gonna end up tossing it out. So I am back to where I was 6 weeks ago only with
less money. I REALLY REALLY like the new moome board though. WOW ! So I will be
back to bugging you guys with my stupid questions all over again. In case I forgot THANKS
for all the help, and putting up with my video depression.
