Ok...well you have to pay $79 per year but if you are already paying that for free 2day shipping then this is a free add-on!
Only 5,000 titles but I assume this will grow with time.
I just need to see if there is a BR player that will allow me to stream Netflix, Amazon, and play MKVs and ISO from an attached HDD.

Interesting!
Looks like a few Sony and Panasonic BD players are the only BD players supporting Amazon instant video. But, the Roku box at $79.99 also supports it, so if you have a spare HDMI input and a BD solution that's already working well for you, it might make more sense to just get the Roku box rather than upset your BD apple cart.
We're actually going to drop Netflix... We're totally disappointed in the selection of streaming. BORING! It's great if you're into documentaries or 15-20 year-old TV shows, or obscure stuff, but you can only do so much of that... We've been finding ourselves really stretching to find stuff to put in the physical BD queue, and renting BD's from Redbox 2-3 times for every one BD we watch from Netflix. So, why pay the $12-whatever a month?
If Amazon gets more new releases and better content, it could be a smokin' deal.

SC - Totally agree about the Netflix...we are streaming less and less although they do have fairly solid catalog for 3 year olds and under (not very picky!). Now that there is a RedBox with BRs about 8 blocks away from our house it is tough to not stop on way home and get a movie of my picking! Also...we have been lagging a bit with busy schedules so my 1 BR at a time in physical format may sit on the ledge for one or two weeks before I get around to ripping it for later watching! It is getting ridiculous!
Kal - I think you are confused or skimming threads! I know what Amazon Prime is...I have been using it for several years to get free 2 day shipping. They have now added on streaming movies as a BONUS for people who have paid Prime accounts! The Amazon VOD service has expanded to free streaming for Prime members!

I'd love to find out how the Amazon selection compares to Netflix. to be honest when I briefly skimmed the movie area it looked almost identical.
The price is right if you have Amazon Prime already!

Sorry, I updated my post. Just wanted to point out that Amazone Prime is only available for customers in the continental United States. Doesn't matter if you're getting stuff shipped or what to stream content. Live anywhere other than the continental United States and you can't subscribe to Amazon Prime.
