"3Dfury can output in both Digital and Analog Video/Audio simultaneously !
Therefor acting as an advanced digital/analog splitter."

This mean's for me that the HDMI to analog conversion is still working like the older fury's.

The most interesting feature for me as a Fury 3 user:

"Dual projectors setup using two 3Dfury modules and passive glasses."

Thumbs Up

Now is my dream of a dual CRT setup in reach Smile No second lumagen scaler(with 72/75Hz and 3D mod) is needed anymore.

Someone also plan to use a dual CRT 3D setup with passiv glasses?

Hi,

I think that in principle that's quite easy:

- Install two projectors blended onto the same screen
- Use a suitable video processor which outputs separate signals for left/right eye image
- Install suitable (depending on the 3D glasses) polarizers onto each projector's lenses
- Ready...

3D glasses may either use linear or circular polarizers. Here's a nice read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarized_3D_glasses

Lumagen HDMI Out1 in Fury 4 #1
Lumagen HDMI Out2 in Fury 4 #2

Than go to the Fury 4 Manual on side 8.

Switch Fury4 #1 to "left Frame Only"
Switch Fury4 #2 to "right Frame Only"

Than go to the Fury 4 Manual on side 9.

Set Frame Rate to 1080p72 on both Fury 4

You can do perfect passive 3D with 2 CRT projectors.

That is what i like to do Smile

And hopefully this will work.

And "barclay66" still wrote down the other information Smile

No, i didnt get any Fury 4 at this time. I only read the manual(http://www.hdfury.com/docs/HDfury4manual.pdf) and i think passive 3D CAN work the way i wrote down.

Atm i only use one 808s and a normal screen. First i have to buy a silver screen, a second 808s (but i think i will wait and get two good shape G70) and 2 Fury4.

Mala

/Edit: Oh, i will try to get a screen from here:

Ok cool Mr. Green

Well i have still 2 x Marquee 9500LC Ultra sitting here

What is missing:

2 x Fury4
1 x Silverscreen

But in that case with 2 x projectors and passive 3D it would be a stack of the 2 CRT's ?

Hi,

My HDFury 4 just shipped today. My DVDO can't output 72hz to my Vision 1. I will force 24hz from my DVDO and use HDFury 4 to triple the framerate to 72hz. Hopefully, it will improve picture quality.

As for the active shutter glass, they will start shipping at the end of this month. I've been waiting to watch 3D using active shutter glass and hope the HDFury 4 will not disappoint me.

Hi,

You're correct. I'm sometimes confused with the two terms:

Stack: Two or more PJs displaying onto the same screen area (for 3D or more brightness)
Blend: Two or more PJs displaying onto adjacent screen areas (for resolution and/or size expansion)

I think it will be possible to adjust the convergenz of 2 CRT on ceiling mount. There are so many option to adjust the picture. Smile

But you can try it with your 2 x 9500 and tell us your result Smile

But for passive 3D with a silverscreen you need a polarizer !?

That makes it a little more complicated....

Correct,

No polarizers, no separation, no 3D.
Other option would be alternating pictures and shutter glasses.
For this You don't need polarizers but You will have some drawbacks:

- Less light output as each PJ is off for half the time (although polarizers reduce output too)
- Heavier active shutter glasses
- Risk of ghosting/flickering if not perfectly synchronized
- May need faster phosphor on green

So if I had two identical PJs I'd rather go for polarizers...

TV/Projector: Vidikron Vision 1 - Ultra

Guys,

This 3D Fury product is amazing. Although I have a DVDO processor and connect to Moome full HD V3 input card on my Vision 1, the image quality is unbelievable. Colour is more natural or should I say outstanding. I'm seeing details that I've never seen before on my Vision 1. The image is sharper with 3D Fury. Initially my primary investment for this gadget is to get 3D but I'm getting more than what I wished for. I've tried triple frame rate to 72 Hz and the motion is simply outstanding watching on bluray disc. I can't compare with Radiance as I have not seen them personally. But if you look at the price of $399, it's a must have gadget & highly recommended.

This sounds amazing... I guess this means there may still be life in the old 808s yet...
Looking forward to seeing how this progresses
Keep up the good work guys
