I have got to say THANKS for all your help.
I found the same model in the garbage (lc32sb21u).
It had the same problem as yours. I tried the power/inverter board first since my friend owns a repair shop and they actually had that board in stock.
When that didn't work, I turned to the internet for some help and came across this site.
So I took it apart and found the bottom lamp was out.
I ordered it from the same place (ccfl warehouse), and now I have a working 32".
BTW, I checked with the person that sells them on eBay and they are 3.5mm x 705mm, but I couldn't seem to find that size anywhere.
So thanks again....I really appreciate all the information here.

Ok New problem Mac. Someone tried to get into the CC on the tv and now the remote wont work, it says this operation not allowed by remote. I can't get out of it. No button works so i need to do a factory reset or hard reset but forgot which buttons i have to hold down together.

Try unplugging tv for at least 30 seconds and then plug it in and turn it on with the remote.
