I have just added Iscan VP50 to my Video chain and have some problems with HDCP. Set up is as follow
Sony BD350 hdmi> Onkyo Integrahdmi >DVDO VP50 hdmi>HdfuryII >NEC ISS 6020 RGBHV > Nec XG 135LC. I do get on screen menus but minute i turn off HDCP no image comes on ( you get Blu ray screen for sec and then it shuts off)
FuryII should remove HDCP but i cant pass that issue.

Thank you for any help
Radek

There are 2 sections in the menu for HDCP on the VP50 they both have to be set to on or off. Set them both to on. The fury should be seen as an HDCP device and fuction as normal.

At least that is how my Moome EXT works with the VP50 and my 9PG.

Hope that helps.

I've never worked with a VP50 but can it take a 24Hz input and output 60Hz? You might what check the output refresh rate from the BD player too if CxTurbo's idea doesn't help.

Yes it will convert framerates. You may also need to set that. Mine are all set to convert PAL signals to the NTSC counterpart. My SXRD would not accept Pal signals and I just left them as is when I moved to the PG.

Good point Mike.

Ok, That is the easy part.

Go into the menu and make sure it is in advanced mode.

In the framerate section go to 24Hrz set it to the pre set 60Hrz. As I said mine are all set to that.

Let me know how that works out.

James

James I have set 60 hz on pre sets, but liked 48 a bitt better. It might be just me not optimizing XG135 set up after frame rate change. Also when BD is going thru start up motions of home screen>playing commercials > main feature input signal rate changes causing PJ seeing different signal (it looses convergence). Is there a way to eliminate that?

I thought I liked 48Hz on my XG Until I watched a bright scene...That's when you see the flicker...Some people it doesn't bother, it gives me headache.

About the only way to solve the convergence issue is to try to pause player during those portions of the disk...Set the convergence save the memory then let it go on...I have the same issue with an HTPC while it's booting.
