Grabbed this from a friend mine .. OK i tryed hooking this up ... when i start the unit it just blinks every 5 to 9 sec on the screen with a message saying unregistered signal no input and it blinks so fast that its hard to catch and it does this for a good 15min .. also why it is blinking i noticed on the lens that green stays on dim and the blue and red would blink. Ok now after 15 to 20 min i sometimes will get white screen with a message saying warning incorrect h-brun with a countdown clock of 10min i think ... I cant do anything on the screen with remote all i can do is hit end and shuts the lens off... Just let you know he had it ceiling mounted im running it as a desktop so i did flip the plug inside to change to desktop. but i cant change the vert scan in the menu or anything because of this problem ... My code in the back reads ( 00 ) any help would be great thank you ... Dave

Are you actually feeding it a signal??? It has to have something to lock onto that is previously registered. It may still have factory pre-registered PC resolutions in it's memory. Try hooking up a PC with a breakout cable with the PC set to 1024 X 768. The other alternative is find the source your friend was using to get it fired up.

The H-plug referred to is a cluster of 3 large connectors and a jumper (with a single white wire loop) on the H-def board which is just under the top cover. There should be a diagram next to it showing how to change. This would only be necessary if you had changed projection style from what it was (ie ceiling to floor mount). For the PS3 question... Turn on the PS3 by holding down on the front power button until it beeps to force basic video output.

I have a sneaky suspicion that you've never done this before Wink The first thing I would do is to convince your friend to help you get started. Second, get the manual and read, read, read. You have picked one of the hardest projectors to learn on. You have your work cut out for you. DO NOT HANG THAT PROJECTOR WITHOUT READING THE MANUAL FIRST.

Here's what it can look like if you take the time and set it up right and use a PC or HD as the source.
