Well, the wife decided that she could use this opportunity to not have to search forever to find me a holiday gift and ordered the Hsu VTF-15h subwoofer. This is replacing the failed (broken) Paradigm PW-2200 v2 that I was never quite trusting of.
I had also been looking at the eD A5-350 and also to a less of extent the DSL-3400 by Paradigm (but really starting to distrust them on woofers). Can't wait to plug the 15h in and be entertained.
Life without LFE is a big bummer.

Holy crap is this thing huge! I thought the FedEx guy was going to pull a muscle in carrying it from the truck. Think freezer chest. Its at least three times the size of the dead Paradigm PW2200! Tomorrow I'll make effort to use the Denon's internal Audyssey calibration and see if I can get it tuned in. I did a simple manual calibration and was very pleased with having LFE again.
