i am having a problem with my PG extra. i was trying to set it up and when i tried to change some settings the red tube raster would get much brighter then it should. at the time i was able to shut off the pj and start it a little later and it would go away but now it will not as soon as i turn the unit on the red raster is really bright while the green and blue is like normal what should i do to try to correct this?

Hit the Kelvin button, if you have AKB enabled, it might be trying to even out the wear by blasting the red, which typically wears a lot slower....maybe ?

Otherwise you could have a bad red CRT socket/video amplifier, I've had that happen, or in the rare case, a shorted red tube itself. Luckily it's the red, I've got spares of the tube and the video amp if you need one.
