My friend has a zenith 900 pro X (used to be mine) anyway he is setting up a HT in his garage
He tells me he is running RG6 cable through the walls to the PJ and plans on connecting the
RG6 coax to BNC connectors.
Would that work?
If it wont I want to tell him while he still has an easy time running cable.

I not sure I'm folowing. Do you mean he wants to run 1 RG-6 Coax cable then a splitter? If that's the case nope it won't work.

He would have to run 5 of the RG-6 Coax cables, then using RCA to BNC converters at the P/J yes....it will work... if the source is a computer using a VGA converter or a scaler that has 5 BNC or RCA output.

But straight from a cable box or DVD or Blu-Ray one Coax cable is not enough.

Ofcourse itll work, itll be fine. I ran 6 runs of RG6 to the NEC, 1 video and 5 for RGBHV, used BNC compression fittings at the projector end and its done. 10 meter run and perfectly clear on all sources Wink

I didnt use adaptors, i got the correct end fittings for the job, so it was BNC at the projector end .
