great idea i dont use it and a friend of mine who has a marquee and the internal moome doesnt use it either.
go with the industry standard please.

I don't think anyone with a P/J uses the toslink at all. So all of the internal cards don't need that and the 3D and any other upgrade could replace that part.
And as far as the external box feeding a TV, that TV would have to be 3D capable which means it wouldn't need the box anyway,right?
Computer monitors same thing, unless the are CRT then they would be using the computer graphic card and sound card.
I see no reason for audio on these devices at all.
Maybe I missed why it is on it even now?

I don't use the toslink.
Please Moome try and keep to the industry standard, and like craigr said try to put contrast adjustment on the side of the card if possible.
