My video card died a few days ago. I found two bad electrolytics on it in a spot right next to the heatsink. All the others are farther away and it looks like they run cool. They are 1500uf 6.3v radials. do you think if I replace them with 1000uf 35v radials from radio shack that it would be okay? The card worked very well prior to the failure. I don't want to spend $$ on another card if I can fix this one today for 4 bucks.

You can increase the voltage if they will fit. But I dont know if i would go that high. 10v or 16v. You can not decrease the value. I would try to keep it at 1500uf. Just buy a good brand name from a reputable supplier. Not Ebay.
