G70 - coming up on one year of trouble free service.

480i Sim (420, I think) - gave to best friend to practice on - still works

BG800 - mint tubes - can't get it to work with convergence board plugged in (any ideas?)

Actually, this makes it difficult for those of us owning more than one CRT projector.

well here is the list:

On my living room roof:
Sony VPH 1020 (in good working order, typically get 5 hours use each day)

In the hall closet:
Sony VPH 722 (electrically sound, no tubes)
Sony VPH 1001 (Dead. hoping to repair over christmas and put back up in the place of the 1020)
Sony VPH 1001 (as above)

Currently on the worshop table:
Vidikron TGS 200 (this is deadish, green tube does not turn on, no virtical hold on the other tubes - however uses the same tubes as the 1020/722 and the tubes have no burns, so it is hovering around for when the 1020 have burnt out its current set of tubes)

hmmmn
i really need to cut back, oh well,
There is a home for unwanted projectors in NZ, happy to pick up anything that is homeless/unwanted Smile

I love Barcos, always wanted one. But I can't explain why, every time I think time has come to own a Barco I end up buying another Marquee.

I used to hate Marquees, never planned to have one. I hate the way they are built, their look, their leacky glychol chambers.

Everything started with a 9500LC ultra, then parts, mods, more parts, more mods, now I'm surrounded by 3 Ultras looking at me and saying daddy... Shocked

Really not, I usually prefer not to touch my toys, but what can a Marquee owner do when He is continiously bombed by information like "Hey Try this coil man... it will make Your pj fly away !" Sad

You can just jump on the bus and try the "ubber alles" super tripping hyper strong Viagra magnet for the tighter focus You have experienced so far. Laughing

Ok... but I also hate the Barco Cine9, horrible machines I'll never own one!

I would blend, with a Marquee you'd be stuck with an over under stack.

Stacking is very possible with ultra Marquees.
