says 135 LC.
Pics of tubes are not LC.
seller claims under 75 hours but you can see 16:9 wear on tubes (4k+ hours?)
unit does have the very rare 2nd RGBHV input card though.
what do you guys think?
He also only wants $2,000 for it too.

Still shows up for me. Seller name is "macallan18gr"
I don't know, he has 1788 positive feedback at 100%. All the other auctions are for other highend HT stuff.
this sounds like a copy paste from another auction thought.

Here we have a great condition hard to find NEC XG 135LC (Liquid Coupled) CRT video projector. The tubes are virtually new, and have under 75 hours on them! 1200 lumens from these 8" EM focus tubes, liquid coupled lenses with no scratches on them. 135 Khz scan rate for maximum versatility. Video, S-video, and RGB inputs accept virtually all video type signals including all formats of HDTV, up to 1600 X 1200 resolution. Digital convergence, on screen menus, 100 zones of point convergence per color, an incredible picture! You'll get at least 8,500 hours of good use out of this set. 4:3 and 16:9 ready. I'll include BOTH remote controls (the User Remote and the Programming Remote...both Hard to find!!), the manual and a full size padded “roadie” hard-sided shipping case with transport handles. These NEC CRT projectors are the video equivalent of the old tube type audio amplifiers: they are 'analog' rather than 'digital', so you will not get the pixellation' and video artifacts that come with the fixed pixel DLP chip projectors. This is a 'multisync' projector and will smoothly switch and scan ANY video source...You won't find a better, more flexible projector at any price!"

I had contacted the seller earlier about the errors in the listing. He claims that the photos of the AC unit with visible tube wear are not from the unit he is selling, and that his unit is as described.
Now there's a marketing strategy I never thought of.

either he has been very lucky with feedback or his account has been hijacked. I don't think with that kind of mentality he could have nearly 1900 feedback of all positives. Still strange if the account is not hijacked the real owner has not noticed by now.

Hmm... I don't see anything about the ad that screams "scammer". Most of the rest of the items listed by the same seller are pro-AV equipment or computer stuff, so that fits.
Oh, and lots of people copy/paste at least some of the listing text. Hinky yes, but doesn't mean they're a scammer. Heck, some of the text may have been NEC marketing copy.
Doesn't look bogus to me.

I'm pretty sure that text is copy/pasted from a Curt Palme Ebay ad.
