Yeah I'm nerdy, I measured grey scale as soon as I turned it on and then again after 15 minutes and then after 30, then after an hour. no change from 15 to 30 and very slight from 15 to 1 hour.

So i just do everything after 15 minutes, and I use the lumagen warm up function test pattern, its a full field 50% white pattern.

Could you do the same but without using a warm up pattern. To compare how much the phosphor is really affecting things?

I just turn it on. Then I go to get a drink and some snacks from down stairs, then watch the 20 minutes of trailers, at that point it's ready/stabilized for critical viewing.

I don't do anything special for warm-up. Convergence is pretty much bang-on from the moment I start it up. It takes about 5 mins for the contrast to maximize and for black levels to rise to the right point.
