Bored at work and I was just checking out Planatarium dome systems and found this Edge Blend/Warp unit.
http://www.digitalprojection.com/Portals/0/Documents/Fusion/FUSION_PRELIM.pdf
FUSION 3D: Extreme bandwidth, near-zero latency processor providing warp and blend for sources with resolution up to WQXGA (2560 x 1600) at 60 Hz, and outputs to projectors with native resolution up to WQXGA as well. This makes the FUSION 3D the perfect warp and blend solution to match DPI’s recently -launched dVision 35-WQXGA. Alternatively, the FUSION 3D can provide near-zero latency warp and blend for sources up to WUXGA resolution at 120 Hz, enabling it to support warp and blend for projectors being employed in the highest resolution high frame rate and 3D applications. This makes the FUSION 3D the perfect warp and blend solution to perform with any of DPI’s iVision, TITAN or LIGHTNING 3D displays. Like the FUSION MD processor, there is no scaling, so optimally, the source input to the Fusion 3D processor should match the native resolution of the projector. If the input resolution does not match the projector resolution, projector scaling can be applied after warp and blend has been achieved by the Fusion MD processor.
I wonder how much that baby goes for!

That's not that big a deal in terms of bandwidth. I'm running 3x 1920x1200 screens out of $400 video cards for work. My desktop machine is 2x 1920x1200 and 1x2500x1600, all at 60hz. Add another video card and I could do three more of 'em. Mindblowing bandwidth for a CRT is plebeian for digital stuff.

You know, I'm curious. Are those monitor resolutions native or maximum and then down converted. I looked up a bunch of higher resolution monitors and all the spec sheets state maximum resolution. The specs say nothing about native resolution. Anyone have a spec sheet on these monitors that state if thats native resolution?
Oh, and bandwidth when converted to digital becomes BPS so the hertz factor is then not relevant.

Has anyone tried to do a hard edge blend with the ATI/AMD eyefinity?

Only native is specified; no point in anything else. You don't run an LCD monitor at anything other than native unless you have to for some odd reason - eg, some stuff just won't run fullscreen 2500x1600 yet.
Funny thing about my 30" HP monitor - 720p fits in with doubled pixels!
Loves me my monitor!
