I am having a hard time believing my input card is shot but I have no better explanation for it not seeing the signal from my computer. So if anyone is interested in selling me one, I don't think its like a kidney where you might regret it later. I don't think these things go bad very often. I have most of the other cards if someone would like to trade the input card for a few of those.

Thanks Curt. I know you can. Just want to play this hand first before sending it in.
Especially if someone between San Diego and San Luis Obispo has one.
And you always have a place to stay out here.

Hey AC,
Do you mean the "B" board? If so I have a spare but it's in the UK - shipping may be $$$...

I'd have to pull it out to see but it is the one that has the RGBHV connectors that stick out the back.
I am in one of those positions where I am not really sure what the problem is. The board sounds like its
working or trying to work. It clicks like its trying to find a sources.
Thank you very much for the offer Barcoed. I'm hoping to find a card more nearby for now. Otherwise I'm
just as well off or maybe better off sending it to Curt. But its nice to have a fallback position.
I just wish I knew for sure that was the problem. Like I wish I was getting a code.
My fear I'll get it going then hook up the Extron and it will blow that card.
This might be a good time to ask if those Moome cards people rave about replace the card that I have in there now.

With a Moome you will most likely still need a working Sony G70 "input board."
I would suggest throwing Curt a bone on this one Not only will you help support the guy who runs this forum to help keep it here, but he can also test the board when he gets it. This way you will know for sure if it is, or is not the problem. Curt's prices are reasonable too.

Seconded - Curt's just fixed a couple of DC boards for me; damn fine job and quick turnover (despite having "Manflu")

That's funny. Now I feel like a traitor.
I am a believer and have personally touched the hem of his garments.
He has repaired two boards for me. My projector would not be running without him.
I just noticed the consonants in Curt's name are CRT.

Sorry, didn't mean to make you feel like a traitor. It just seems to me like sending Curt the board is the easiest thing to do at this point.

Think nothing of it. I just want to explore my options before sending to and from Canada.
I have to consider I may have to pay for everything twice. The Extron may
cause the repaired card to fail again. Then I will have to either buy another Extron 202xi, or find an
Inline box like I had which worked great for me and pay for another repair plus shipping costs.
By the time this is over a Moome IFB card may start looking like a bargain.
