A quick search shows it might be a Moon Jong card with built in scaler? That would explain the SDI input and selectable DIP switches which are a built-in scaler ? Wow he made and sold these for $1K back in 2006 and I've never even seen one?

Yeah thats a Moon Jong card Is it a red PCB? I think there is a CD program that some had to change the EDID's and add resolutions.

Alpha Vision was his Companies Name. I might be Wrong but I think Moome took over the building of them and then designed his cards.
There was one for sale last year on VideoGon but with no SDI. Drags is this a customers or are you selling it?

Athanasios,
MoonJong Kim made these boards, Moome did not have anything to with them.

They have a Faroudja scaler on boards, came with DVI only version, and a DVI and SDI input version.
Price from memory was 750US for the DVI and 850 for the DVI and SDI input version.

Also had an external version in a case and internal power supply, for 1050US from memory.
All version came with a remote control for resolution, pal/ntsc, input selection.

You can connect to the board over RS232 and change settings, resolutions etc.

Very nice and great performing board for SD inputs, especially the SDI input, very clean.

It installs the the 2nd slot of the VIM.

I have used one for the last 4 years, now I have the latest Moome HDMI board, with my Lumagen Radiance running 72 and 75Hz.
Not going to sell it though, too good to let go of.

Cheers
Steve
