I have a nec xg 1352 lc and am about to get it going. I have confirmed it is working properly.
I have the nec xg 1352, moome newest internal hdmi card, and an old lumagen dvi not hdp or hdq.The lumagen can do interlaced resolutions such as 1080i @ 100hz and below it seems using my digital projector for a test.

So the question is for bell hdtv here in Canada they send out all HDTV as 1280X720p @ 60hz should I use the lumagen and up the frame rate? 30X3/1.001=89.91 hz?

And for bluray 1080i @ 95.90hz
24x4/1.001

what is the views on framerate.

Maybe I should run only 1920X1080i @ 119.88 hz that way it should work for ntsc video 29.97 and bluray video 23.976 hz.

Right now the previous owner has it all set up for celing mount and I am looking into the tube face trying to read the lumagen output the image looks fine at 1080i @ 119.88HZ BUT IT IS NOT 1920 it is a lower number.
1893@1080i @71.92 hz (previous owner setup looks perfect)
1599@1080i @119.88hz (just changed frame rate and left everything else alone|) but the image on one side is wrinkled probably needs the timing fixed.

If I change the 1599 to 1920 then the image moves over to the right side of the screen alot so I unplugged the lumagen so I wouldn't hurt anything. Maybe it can do the full 1920X1080i @ 119.88 but needs the settings changed or maybe the lumagen dvi can handle the full 1920 so it drops it back to 1599.

Its difficult to diagnose the prior owners settings. What memory setting are u using ? if you are not using memc or memd, I would suggest setting up those memories on the lumagen and starting from scratch. That way u still have mema and memb with the prior owners settings.

I am surprised u are getting 120 hz, I have a lumagen dvi too, and I cant get 120hz on 1080i. The input only allows 2 digits.
