Hi Guyz. I hang out here all the time....never post anything. Unless I have a problem with my Marquee 8500, but it's running/looking fantastic...especially after the CIR Engineering calibration this past March Very Happy (thanks Craig! wherever you are).

But this brought a smile to my face today when I was leafing through the mag.......thought I'd share it. Hopefully the link won't fail AFTER I post this Rolling Eyes

I just got the magazine 2-3 days ago via US mail. They seem to put them out every 3-4 months. Usually nothing is in them of real interest....hence me not even taking the mag outta the shrinkwrap for several days. But this one has some interesting tidbits on Japanese technology and devices and trends.

Perhaps we should all bombard Mazda with requests for that mag, making execs think that they did one hell of a marketing thing with the magazine...Very Happy

Okay here's the full page spread from the mag, that I initially cropped the other image from; not even noticing the reflections around the driver/car the 1st viewing:

Looks like Mazda engineers are smart enough to know that when you need a projection system to run 24/7 only CRT fits the bill.
Barco 808's of some kind?

Yep, BArco 808 or 808s. I hate to say it, but had I glanced at the issue, I'm not sure I would have seen them. DOH!

That isn't a typical setup for watching videos. Maybe some sort of Panoramic setup?
