Oh boy, I know what you'all are thinking but before you start on me, this is a weird error code that has popped up once before and a PJ re-boot clears it. 08 at 5a. I know that 08 means no acknowledge from I2C device but 5a is not listed in the manual. This is the second time this has happened and as the time before, it continues to run perfectly with the error code present. Usually the first part of a AmPro error code is the problem and the second part is a result and usually clears when you solve the first part.

OK, have your fun Wink

That's right, picture this in you're little head.
A robot waving his arms saying WARNING, WARNING, the picture you are about to see kicks the shnit out of a Marquee.

Now tell the truth. Now many AmPro 4600HD's have you seen in action that qualifies you to make your last statement?

I have a suspect. There is a short interconnect at the hinge between the convergence tray and convergence amp board. This failed on the second 4600 that is out in the garage. It caused something of the same thing and it drove me bonkers to the point that I never recovered Wink

I can't mess with it now. The wife just came home from the hospital and will be spending the next week or so sleeping in the theater on one of the recliners to help keep her head elevated. Ye old AmPro will be on 24/7 the whole time.
