|
|
Hi all I just got hold of one of these and wanted to use it to test my Ampro 4600 and for astig eventually, however, its not as straight foward as that. I have to first programme it and thats the problem I have no idea where to start. I read throught the two pages that came with it and came up with not much. Any and all advice would be graetly appreciated.
specifications are:
Dot clock to 65 MHz
H scan to 131 KHz
Stores 100 programs
I got some pictures of a advert.
Whats the highest resolution that this can output?

seems straight forward looking at the pictures.
write down the settings from your vp or powerstrip and program them into the generator.
total dots would be the 1920 plus sync width and back and front porch.
scanfrequency horizontal is approx 65 khz for 1080p 60 hz.
take over the settings like i said and select the correct sync (+ or -)
this device has bnc outputs?

1920 1080
67 hoz ref 60
80 front porch 4
164 sych w 5
244 back porch 36
pixel clock 162.539
so 1920 + 80 + 164 + 244 =2408 for total dots on horizontal
then
1080 + 4+5 + 36 for lines on vertical?
yes its got 5 bnc's at the back, thanks Dennis.

Ha! That looks like the same type that was used at Ampro for projector burn in.
You will be able to set the sync frequencies for anything that you want but with max dot clock at 65 MHz your max resolution at 1080p frequency will be 840 x 1080p @ 60Hz.

I still don't know why you insist on jumping through hoops with this stuff just for a external dot pattern to adjust your astig.
