Guys!

Clinton is now essentially making copies of the Matsushita tubes. Maybe Scott will comment on their quality vs Matsushita.

The Clinton tubes are using the same gun assy and glass as Matsushita/Panasonic so performance is equivalent. Clinton is doing a great job of putting them together so quality is excellent. We have to measure MTF at 2048 x 1536 for every projector for one of our customers and the Clinton tubes easily meet specs.

Ok, who is buying these things at these prices such that no flash light projector can fill the bill?

Hello

CRT pretty much Owns the simulation market, due to accurate black and deep grays.

Someone must tell, to the new owners of those CRT, to be gentle with them. They are Their CRT's today, but may be our CRT's tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm getting caught up on things here. Just have an engine to assemble and install on an excavator and repair a 60kw generator. Of course there's another equipment auction Saturday. I need some restraint, lol.

Anyways, back to the regularly scheduled program.... Very Happy

I guess you mean those who can afford the 9" CRT. Actually the cream of the crop of 9" CRTs can be had very reasonably.
Just grab a 4300 or 4600 and your set. Very Happy

It looks like the new digitals are in the background.

This is awesome. Now they just need to start making 20+" CRT monitors again. When mine dies I'm going to weep.

I wonder which I'll be able to afford sooner: an LED-DLP projector or a used 2010 Marquee.
