I instinctively nurture my kids too, and love 'em to death. BUT my life would have been very different without them. E.g. kids are basically a full-time job -- I think I've spent at least 40 hrs/week for the last 15 years doing things that I wouldn't have done if I didn't have kids. That's a lot of life to invest in changing diapers, chasing them to school, yadda yadda. Now obviously some of that time is precious quality time -- e.g. I still treasure memories of reading Harry Potter out loud to two little boys on my lap -- but a lot of it isn't. In the teen years a lot of it can be **EXTREMELY** stressful. Not to mention the various severe stresses kids can put on your marriage. I'm dealing with some of that right now.
And I'm lucky. My boys are brilliant and mostly extremely good kids. If I had kids with challenges -- mental, physical, behavioral, whatever -- I just don't know how I could handle it. I am not that strong.

Not that any of this has anything to do with speakers | In poor nations it is seen as a hobby. No money for TV, cable/satellite/Blu-ray and the only entertainment is age old coon dog delight.
Well, at least that is what my siblings were doing--and I was raised in a very poor household. Imagine my aligning with those developed nations with income.
