Has anyone seen, played with or bought one of the DVICO products?

I was over at Kei's site and saw she has the 6620 for $369. It is a dual tuner OTA PVR box that can also play MKVs. For those that care for cable or satellite, this might be a good solution.

Not familiar but it looks interesting. Especially if you have an older TV with out a quam ATSC tuner and want to use a feed from an existing FIOS box to it. This could be a nice stand alone tuner with the bonus of a dvr!

I meant to say those that don't want cable. I loved Tivo, but wouldn't pay them $13 a month plus the box for the service. Since it plays MKVs, one could use it for BR as well.

Link seems to be broken.

Slightly off topic but related. I have a signal channel DVICO tuner in my HTPC for OTA HD.

Hardware works very well, better than my STB HD tuner, pulls in more channels.

Software divers work well but the other bundled software and apps are flaky!

The link works for me.

Kei started a thread about 6620 over at AVS. I only glanced at it, but it looks like a good product.

I have been using a 6620 updated with the latest firmware for a few months now for daily OTA recording and playback and it works great.
