Ditto ! Set your DVD player to output 16:9
The projector only outputs what you put into it...Oh and start using SpellCheck or Websters

You have essentially been told this several times. First ensure source is 16:9 you may have to set it up this way. And then (your choice):
1). Read the manual, the Barco manual is great. I have AD and dyslexia but somehow after a couple of reads, I figured out how to setup my Barco. It really all is in there and if you pause long enough to read and absorb it you will be good to go. And in all honesty if the Barco manual doesn't get you there for basic setup, no internet forum will either. Perhaps you should seek out a member here who could help you in person.
2). Chuck the manual and follow the guided setup (in the projector's menu) which walks you through the setup.
3). Chuck the Barco and go digital or get a later Barco with Iris3 that sets itself up (to a greater or lesser degree).
Other than setting up the source to output 16:9 (if required) setting up a Barco for 16:9 is no different than setting up for 4:3 or 5:4 or whatever ratio takes your fancy. Thus the problem is you are asking a very basic question which has not only be answered several times but is actually in the manual.
