I recently picked up Ong-Bak on Blu-ray at Walmart for $15. It looked like a pretty decent Kung-fu action with the added cool factor all real stunts and no stunt doubles. After popping it in I realized I had seen it before and it was so-so at best. The main female character also has a pretty annoying voice. The worst part though -- the video quality of the Blu-ray is TERRIBLE! I had to wonder if I was watching a DVD! I've never seen the crumby version of The Fifth Element on Blu-ray, though I find it hard to believe that it's worse than Ong-Bak. It's hard to believe that any video reviews of this Blu-ray can give it any more than 1/5 stars or the equivalent. They should yank it from the shelves or price it like a bargain bin DVD. Funny how if I buy a blender at Walmart that's terrible quality, I can take it back for a refund. If I buy a Blu-ray that's terrible quality I'm just stuck with it. Sure, only $15, but still, it's the principle!
