I have uploading posters by the hundreds, in 1080x1920, to my Google Drive, for those who simply wish to download and display. Basically a grab and go, display setup for a hdtv. 
The 1080x1920 format maintains the original poster aspect ratio (or very close to it) and places the poster at the very top of a rotated hdtv.
This could be a great use for an older computer, collecting dust...
