Anyone got a socket 939 motherboard with an 8x AGP slot and 5 PCI? I need to fix an older system up.

Good luck with that. Talk about old computer school. How many 18-month cycles has passed since 2005?

I don't give a rat's azz. I have a PVR that needs a board like this so I put out the feelers for one.

Sorry Wan, I just woke up when I posted that. I was uber grumpy.
What I have is an AMD 3200XP with 2gigs ram.
ATi AIW 9800 tuner, ATi VE tuner PCI, ATi 550 hw tuner PCI, ATi HDTV wonder 2 tuners PCI, MYHD130 2 tuners with DVI daughter card ( x 2 PCI ), RealMagic DVD card and a Auzentech soundcard PCI w 7.1 out.
The ATi VE will be out in favour of the newly aquired 550 card ( the 550 is hardware based encoding ) the RealMagic card will go in favour of the MY HD130 card w DVI daughter card and the on board 5.1 DD sound in the Nvidia MCP-T chip will be replaced with the Auzentech sound card.
I have a 250gb internal drive and a 320gb SATA external drive and a 1TB SATA external drive that I will be adding to it.
This whole thing plugs into my 42" RCA RPTV with DVI. It runs Beyond TV
The issue I have with the system now is if I try to record 3 analog programs at the same time the PC can't keep up. ALl the analog tuners are software based. Also if I try to use my ATi HDTV card it just pegs the processor at 100% with Beyond TV.
So to get full use of this system I want to re-cycle the AMD socket 939 dual core 4200 chip in my Green Machine and 2 or 3 gigs of ram to speed things up.
The Green Machine will get a quad core shortly.

Thanks for that. I've been looking at this board for a week now. There are conflicting reports that say even though it will do AGP 8x it won't do it at 0.8 volts. Just 1.5 volts only which is the voltage for 4x! This board has all the features I need. I'm just not sure what the ATi AIW PRO 9800 128meg card needs for voltage.

Ok after some research it looks like this will work. I think I'll take the plunge on this one. I'll let you know how it goes.
