I have read that it's best to avoid 90* bends. Use two 45* bends instead.

good point but that will mean i have to make the trace smaller because of room issues and i doubt this will give me an advantage because of this.
you mean 2 * 135* Smile.
btw would you be interested in a board for costprice once i got mine working.
i will put the coaxcables on that will go to the 02pvim too.
i ordered 8mtrs nexans coax rg179u 0.7mm conductor area.
only thing you will need to do is put the ad834s on yourself and remove some resistors and the ad835s from the 02p vim and you are good to go.
i will have lots of components left after i have made 2 boards, and a third for nashou perhaps.
nashou if you are reading this let me know if you want 1 so i will order 3 if i can get in touch with the pcb guy or like i said i will go and play with chemicals.

question about the groundplane, do i have to connect a ground plane from the addon pcb to a ground point from the vim or can i use ground from the chassis.

thanks
dennis

I think it would be most important to have a good HF ground at the input of the bd. Probably best to ground near the output of U11, 17, and 23.

i found another guy that wants to make the pcb`s for me, they will be 70um tinned and with a green coating plus mechanical vias.
i ordered 3 for a total of about 50 euro.
i cannot buy all the chemicals uv lights and other materials for that amount and make them myself.

Very good price for that size board.

Alberta Printed circuit boards would be more but with them you get much more.

But great price.

who knows something about the videocables can surely answer the following.
do i need to connect ground at both plugs or just at 1 plug (smb).
with audio equipment they only connect 1 plug to ground to prevent groundloop.

I made up one cable with a silver signal wire and I soldered both ends.

I never saw any noise added. But if you have an old video cable take it apart and see how they have it. Regular Cable for cable tv has both grounded, id think its the same.

ok some news about this little project.

the pcb`s seem to be hard to get for little money.
i have mailed a few guys and some of them didnt reply and a few said they didnt want to do double sided etching and another only wants to etch on 35um boards another one doesnt want to put a silver finish on it blah blah blah, long story short if i want to have what I want i have to do it myself so i bought a couple of things to etch myself and with this approach i can make plenty of boards for other people interested. i will buy a photosensitized board 115cm*51cm.
i will have the etching fluid and board next week.
i am not interested in buying this overseas because of shipping and all.
now that i will etch the boards myself this means i will have to make a small investment.
pcb photosensitive: 118 euro (enough for 40 boards)
chemicals : approx 75 euro.
2 facial browners for lighting the pcb (double sided): 25 euro (2nd hand)

little over 218 plus some extra costs so lets say 250 euro.

if all this goes well i like to get some money back and people that are interested can then buy a board at costprice.
if someone has a schematic they would like to have a pcb for i can do that too for costprice.

tried to etch my first board today and it was a failure but the good news i now know how long to expose.
i exposed 2 minutes and not all traces were etched, after that i exposed the board another minute but couldnt get the pcb well aligned between the transparancies so the pattern was somewhat shifted but now etching went well and all traces were clear.
i will do another board tonigh and when it is right i will post a pic of the finished board with a silver finish.

with regular copper wire for vee and vdd and coax cable from the vim02p (contrast and rgb) plus some wires for the ground plane from this board to the 02pvim.
some resistors and chips need to be removed from the 02p to bypass the end section and let this addon board do the work.
